ABSTRACT This article looks at how music permeates modern life and what our response to this should be as citizens of the kingdom of Jesus Christ residing in the world of today. We will look at how the entire foundation of Western music was built by committed Christians and how this dominance of music slipped away into the hands of others. We will then look at the role of music within the Church of today, and close with challenges facing Christians to redeem and restore music for the kingdom of God. The complete paper is here.
